Oh Zion
by Benjamin Hersh

Oh Zion, Oh Zion

Look and see
The glory of the risen King
He who dwells in the shadow of the Most High
Will say the Lord is my refuge and my fortress,
My Shield and Buckler
My God in whom I will trust
Surely He will guard you from the fowler’s snare,
He will cover you with his feathers and under
His wings you will take refuge

Chorus
 Oh Zion oh Zion
The place of old
The promise of a Nation long foretold
Through scripture that prophesied the returning of
Your people from all over the world
Oh Zion how Hashem has you in His arms
Won’t you see the one who was pierced?
The servant of Isaiah 53
Oh Zion oh Zion Look and see

Who can argue your everlasting Plan?
Who fathom the greatness  of your love
Who can  exalt himself against the knowledge of the most high?

Oh, that salvation for Israel would came  out of Zion! (Psalm 14:6-7)

When the Lord restores his people,

let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!

Let the sound of the shofar sing worship
To Yeshua and exalt His name on high

Oh Zion oh Zion
The place of old
The promise of a Nation long foretold
Through scripture that prophesied the returning of
Your people from all over the world
Oh Zion how Hashem has you in His arms
Won’t you see the one who was pierced?
The servant of Isaiah 53
Oh Zion oh Zion Look and see

Oh people of Zion won’t you see the glory of the risen king
Oh how you sing against the wall waiting for Messiah for all
They tried through time to destroy you people of Zion
But they could not destroy what God had ordained
A shoot has sprung fourth from the vine
Messiah will return to the Land of Zion
Won’t you allow oh Zion the true Vine amongst the hidden grove.

Oh Zion oh Zion
The place of old
The promise of a Nation long foretold
Through scripture that prophesied the returning of
Your people from all over the world
Oh Zion how Hashem has you in His arms
Won’t you see the one who was pierced?
The servant of Isaiah 53
Oh Zion oh Zion Look and see

As the sun sets over Jerusalem
The day of rests is about to start.
Oh Zion why forsake
He who is the one who was there before the time began
He was the beginning and the end the first and the last
The anointed one of most High
Oh people of Israel won’t you see the one of fulfilled prophecy

Oh Zion oh Zion
How Hashem loves you so
Why oh why won’t you see
The glory of Yeshua the one who is and
Will restore one day  all peace
He is the one, why forsake the righteous one of Israel

No one can stop your plan as your glory is everlasting
And your love is enduring for ever

Oh Zion oh Zion
The place of old
The promise of a Nation long foretold
Through scripture that prophesied the returning of
Your people from all over the world
Oh Zion how Hashem has you in His arms
Won’t you see the one who was pierced?
The servant of Isaiah 53
Oh Zion oh Zion Look and see
